Hi, Does anyone have any advice/information on the use of electronic boards for SQDC and Improvement Tracking boards? Everywhere that I have seen be successful in implementing a visual workplace the boards have all been paper or white board based. I am working with a team that is at the beginning stages of creating a visual workplace, and they are eager to starting using a 42" flat panel tv to display their information, rather than the paper based format I have shared with them. My first reaction was "This is a bad idea", which is contrary to the continuous improvement culture I am trying to grow, so I want to gather some information before I offer any advice. If anyone has any experience where they found electronic visuals to be successful or an experience where they were not found to be as useful as a more manual version I would love to hear about it! Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: www.lean.org/FuseTalk/Forum/messageview.cfm?catid=83&threadid=6965&enterthread=yAnimated Device Explainer Video
